Cyrus Hunt is the current and corrupt warden at the prison. He is a reoccurring character in the ABC series For Life.
Biography[]
Cyrus was the prison warden before Safiya Masry and was a corrupt and dangerous man. He was seen to cover up fights and help prisoners from getting in trouble if they would do anything for him. He was fired from being warden prior to the events of the show and was fired because Aaron Wallace gathered up evidence of how corrupt he was by showing medical records of prisoners that were never disclosed to anyone that even the prison's medical staff reported the behavior. Cyrus reappeared in the episode "Closing Statement" when Attorney General Burke thought that Masry was incompetent as a warden and scheduled a hearing for her and until the hearing was over, Burke reappointed Cyrus as the prison warden. Cyrus then made all of the prisoners in the drug program go back to general population and made the rehab cells into the original solitary confinement cells and moved all 50 prisoners involved in the fight between Cassius Dawkins and Jamal Bishop into the cells. After this Officer Huey Cornell went to Cyrus and confessed he had given the bible that Masry was looking for to Captain Foster and then Cyrus said he wouldn't tell anyone if Officer Cornell did anything he asked for.
