Jasmine Wallace is one of the main characters in the ABC television series For Life, portrayed by actress Tyla Harris.
She is the daughter of Aaron and Marie Wallace. Jasmine becomes pregnant while her father is incarcerated and lets him know during a visit to the prison, fueling his resolve to get out.
Biography[]
Jasmine Wallace is the daughter of Aaron and Marie Wallace, she also has a son named Aaron Jr and her boyfriend is Ronnie Baxter. She first appears in ("For Life Episode 1 Pilot") where she conflicted about something and doesn't want to tell Aaron about it. When she finally meets her father during her visit to her father in prison, she reveals she is pregnant with Aaron's grandchild, happily she is glad her father took the news well and is excited to have her child and Aaron makes a promise to her that he will be there when her child is born. In one of Aaron's court trials, she witnesses some complications with Aaron's trial for one of his clients and Aaron ends up failing the case, worried she decides to sneak into prison to visit her father and gets caught by the police, Warden Masry lets Jasmine talk to her father in prison, angered Aaron is upset that his daughter snuck in without permission, Jasmine expresses concerns that Aaron won't get out of prison because of the failure of one of his cases previously and Aaron assures her that everything will be okay and she should get some rest then Jasmine is sent home to her mother. In (For Life "Episode 13 Fathers") Jasmine is concerned that Aaron won't win his trial and is scared for her father while talking about believing in her father and fearing the power of the people trying to keep her father in prison, she gets a contraption and water breaks, making Jasmine conclude that she is about to give birth. She goes into the hospital where she is giving birth her child while Aaron is in his court trial, after Aaron wins his case he gets a picture from Jasmine, where she is happily holding her child. She names the child "Aaron" as in honor of her father. In (For Life "Season 2 Episode 2 Homecoming") Jasmine prepares for her father's return to her home and prepares a welcoming back party for him. Once Aaron is there, she welcomes him back to their home and Ronnie shows Aaron the sight of Aaron Jr (his grandson) to him, Jasmine smiles and says to him that she and the rest of the family have been calling him Aaron Jr (AJ) and Aaron happily stares at his grandson with joy.
